Sometimes when I run out of inspiration, I look at the old cardsketches on the MFT blog. And this card is deeply inspired by sketch #429. Beside the sentiment it is an one-layer card, and I did quite a lot of masking
First I sketched in the triangles and masked the sides of so I could stamp the party animals. They are stamped in versafine onyx black ink and heat embossed with clear embossing powder. I think I managed to stamp them all at once. Afterwards I made masks for the animals and then colored in the triangles with distress ink using a triangle stencil. The animals are colored with waterbased markers by scribling some marker on to an acrylic block and then picking it up with a small paint brush – same method as here and here.
