October has been a dull month with regard to creativity (it is those damn books). But I do have a (rather large, ahem) stockpile of finished cards to choose from when I find a sudden need of a card. Last weekend we went to celebrate my mother in law’s birthday. In the week leading up to it, my head was, well, in a book I guess? – time just slipped between my hands, and I forgot all about making a card. But I found this one, all finished.
The triangle-background I made during The daily marker challenge in june and during the summer I made it into a card. The triangles are made with help from a MFT stencil with regular distress inks and I splashed some watered down white paint on it.

Then I cut it down with a frame die from Lawn Fawn, diecut the “Happy Birthday” and stacked a bunch of purple letters behind to give it a nice dimension.

Materials:
-
- Stencil Basic Shapes – Triangles from MFTstamps colored with distress inks
- Big birthday die from MFTstamps
- Purple cardstock from Søstene Grene
- Large stitched rectangle die from Lawn Fawn
