Cards for men and masculine cards in general are not something that is easy for me to make. It’s the cute childish figures and punny sentiments that speak to me – so that is what I buy. And to be honest, I rarely make cards for men other than once or twice every year. Every time it is a bit of a struggle since I don’t wanna give an exact copy of a card they already got from me (not that I think they care – but I care). So this tough guy from avery elle that is still a fairly new addition to my collection is – well, if not a life saver then at least a card saver.
I colored him in during the daily 30 day marker challenge in june. I have been contemplating whether or not I should do something to the background but in the end I decided not to. So all I did was to trim it down with a stitched frame from Lawn Fawn and mount it on a cardbase and call it done, pretty easy.
Materials:
- Tough Guy from Avery Elle, colored with polychromos colored pencils.
- Stitched rectangle from Lawn Fawn
