This could have been a “from the archive” post, since I made them a while ago. All the coloring where done during a daily marker 30 day challenge with Faber Castel polychromos colored pencils. The stamp set I used is “Baked with Love” from Lawn Fawn.
All the cards are kept pretty simple with focus on the coloring. The first card features a rainbow of kitchen supplies. I love the bright colors – and who wouldn’t be happy to receive such a birthday card?
The second card is pretty similar to the first, other than I added a background of distress inks with a stencil. I kept the colors in the yellow, green and purple colorfamily.
The third card features a stack or should I say a mountain of cupcakes. Again I only chose a few colors for the frosting to make the card more cohesive.
On the fourth I used the stamp set to make a patterned paper that I then colored with blues, greens and oranges. The stamp set contains lots of small images that makes it easy to do a pattern like this.
